This Smokey BBQ rub has a slow burn from the Bhut jolokia (Ghost) chilli. In 2007 the Guinness World Records certified the ghost pepper as being the world’s hottest chilli pepper. This was soon superseded in 2011. The ghost chilli is rated at 1 million Scoville heat units or SHUs. Fear not though as this rub has a nice balance of heat and flavour. As with all our products we focus on the flavour rather than just blowing your head off. Don’t get me wrong it has a kick to it.
Ideal for brisket, ribs, pork and chicken. We carefully balance the heat of the Ghost chilli to make this a pleasant full flavoured BBQ rub.
